A source close to Cyrus described Hurley as “warm, positive, and a joy to be around,” noting the enjoyable experience both actors had during the film’s production. ​
This relationship follows recent changes in their personal lives. Cyrus finalized his divorce from Australian singer Firerose in May 2024, after marrying in October 2023. Hurley was previously married to businessman Arun Nayar from 2007 to 2011.​
