Nude Trump Statue Removed from Las Vegas After County Request

A 43-foot nude statue of Donald Trump that once loomed over Interstate 15 en route to Utah has been removed following a request from Clark County officials. Erected on Saturday by a touring artist, the statue sparked both intrigue and controversy.

In a statement, county officials clarified that the statue was displayed on private property. Commissioner Marilyn Kirkpatrick reached out to the property owners, urging them to take the artwork down.

The artist described the piece, titled “Crooked and Obscene,” as a provocative commentary intended to inspire dialogue about the “complexities of political power and leadership.” Despite its artistic intentions, the statue’s removal highlights the ongoing tensions surrounding political expressions in public spaces.
